Boxes
Does anyone know where to find boxes? We should be closing at the end of the month and I want to start packing!
Thanks!

Re: Boxes
if you want when we are done with our you can have them! Ask for friends and family to save any and all boxes! We do this and this is how we acquire so many without buying them.

Re: Boxes
Do you or your friends/family work in an office? We took tons of copy paper boxes from work when we moved. they are not huge, but they are strong, have lids and perfect! Let me know if you want me to collect any for you... we don't live far away!

Re: Boxes
My BIL used to work at an electrical supply store so they had a ton.
I'll FM you the name. If you ask they will probably be glad to get rid of them if you pick them up.

Re: Boxes
Go to the mall and ask the stores for empty shipment boxes I'm sure they will give you some for free. Otherwise any place you can buy packing supplies

Re: Boxes
Like Christine said, paper boxes are great for moving. Also, if you happen to know anyone that works in a supermarket, egg boxes are PHENOMENAL. We had a friend that worked in Pathmark when we moved...he brought over like 10 egg boxes and they were the best thing ever.

Re: Boxes
my DH works in a bicycle store and has tons of boxes. If you pick them up he'll happily pass them along. He's in woodmere.

Re: Boxes
I called Michaels and they told me at what time they got shipment and to come a couple of hours later (great boxes for pictures/ and wall decoration)
BB&B also called them and they save me a bunch of great boxes
Walmart behind the store they fold a bunch of boxes that they take to recycle (great boxes lol)
At the end I only had to buy like 4 boxes to move a 2 bedroom apartment lol

Re: Boxes
Wal-mart, if you mention it before they pitch them. Mary
I got a ton of nice boxes from Hush Puppy shoe outlet here in Lancaster. I just let them know ahead, and picked them up immediately. Maybe you could check your local outlets.
