lovenox is FREAKING ME OUT!!! is this normal?!?!
i'm sorry for so many posts about this stupid drug but is it normal that my stomach is covered in bruises!?! it seems they keep growing! first they start as small red dots and then a few hours later they are huge bruises. when i look at my tummy, i want to cry. is this par for the course?

very normal. One cycle I decided to do my injections in the shape of a smiley face. I gotta find something to amuse me. lol

I hope you weren't planning on wearing a bikini this summer
 this literally made my day! my emotions are all over the place from all these drugs and now i'm sitting here cracking up. um, there will be NO bikinis here.....i'm roughly 7 million pounds overweight and haven't worn a bikini since i was about 15.

thanks girls  i know logically that this is all normal but it's just so alarming to look down and see those bruises! thanks for making me feel better

I changed from injecting in the stomach to the upper thigh. I preferred it much more and was not as painful - but I def still have the bruising.

glad I could entertainer you! The bruising was bad at me too, especially since I'm very fair.
the thought of me in a bikini is just too funny to me and then add to it my insane looking bruises and it's really funny. i'm SUPER fair too so maybe that has something to do with how dramatic they look.

I got bruises at first when I was doing the injections even with my belly button. When I moved a little lower and to the sides, I didn't get any bruises at all!

I have had some really bad bruises. Im not sure whether it is due to the lovenex or neupogen. Just as one side heals the other bruises and vice versa. I love showing my bruises to people. I think we should post pictures to see who wins for worst bruise of the week. Lately I have been trying to tan my bruises so they don't look as bad. I was told you can go about 2 inches below and around the belly button and to not go above it. I also have bruises on my back from the PIO shots.

crashing here...but normal. I always had better luck injecting into my love handles...less bruising. Good luck

yep happened to me it looked like i was punched and poked in the belly making bruises. I found that if I injected on a 90 degree angle and pulled out the same degree that it was a little better.

you sound exactly like me when I first started taking Lovenox!!! Totally normal, also I'm not sure if you get that burning feeling.... but that's normal also!

ICE, before and after...you should also consider the areas away from the belly button...make sure you are grabbing "a handle" and inject. Good Luck to you
