is this normal?
I will be 13 weeks tomorrow and, beginning yesterday, I keep getting this sharp pain in my left side. It stays for about 10 or 15 minutes, then subsides and then comes back again. It's not constant -- but it's happened around 3 times since yesterday afternoon. Does anyone know if this is normal?

Ali - I'm 13 weeks pregnant and have experienced slight pulls and pains (not for a long duration) - but i've been told that its the body adjusting and stretching to the growing uterus and baby.
If its overly painful and its for a long duration, i would give your doctor's office a quick call.

it sounds like round ligament pains, it's totally normal.
Your uterus grows 1000x's it's normal size when you are pregnant - so the pain is to be expected.
