Yet another CBEFM Question
Do you get a peak on the same exact day every month? More specifically in the forst few months of using the monitor. Last cycle I got peak readings CD22 and 23. Today was CD22 and still just high reading. I had EWCM the same days this cycle as last cycle. What gives?

Re: Yet another CBEFM Question
I didn't get peaks on the same exact days each month. Each month my O date varied. In the beginning I skipped a test day and it was giving me reading of peak around CD12- 13 ... that went on till it fixed itself.
Once it was fixed and working properly.. I was getting peak readings around CD 16 - 21. Most fell closer to the CD18 range. My longest cycles, I got a peak reading on CD 21... and I thought it was going to be a no good cycle (but we tried anyway with deanna's plan and all that jazz). that was the cycle I got a BFP.
Do you use any OPK's to confirm the CBEFM readings? I used regular OPK's ONLY around high reading time and at night. So I would know let's say Monday night (if I got a smiley) that Tuesday morning I was going to get a peak reading. And so we would make sure to Monday night. and then of course the next few days in a row as well.
But don't expect peak readings on the exact same day each cycle. I was like you when this happened though... i'd be thinking.. what the heck is going on? But it was working right.

Thanks so much Kerri, you're like the CBEFM master I haven't been using OPK's to confirm. I think if this cycle is a bust I will do that next cycle.
Thanks again, you rock!

You are welcome! I am! haha! I used that machine for at least 9 cycles! That's why!! haha! I really believe it would have taken less than 9 cycles if i had changed up my game plan earlier on. Just on the peak days in the first few months.... was a bad decision for me. it wasn't until I stepped up my game that I got results! I even took that machine on vacations and trips with me. And to work so I could set it at 9am on CD1 each cycle. Haha! I was attached to it!!

Re: Yet another CBEFM Question
I agree with MrsKS. It definitely helps to use a OPK (digital) in conjuntion with the CBEFM. Just for added reassurance.
I used the CBEFM for about 9 months and even though my peak days were pretty close they were not exactly the same each month. I also found that I would see an abundance of EWCM a day or 2 before my peak.
