CBEFM question
This is my first cycle using it, yesterday was the first day it asked for a stick (CD6) reading was low. Today I got a high. Is this normal for the first cycle or is my stupid pcos messing something else up?

oh wow that's early.
BUT you can have like 5 days of high before getting a peak.
i think the first few months it's getting used to you more than anything. i'd say by month 3 it has you all figured out.
so just keep using it and it will get more accurate with time.

I agree with the PP. It is early but since its your first month using it, you may have more then 5 high fertility days.
Ive been using it for 3 months and Im on day 10 of high fertility and Im on CD28!
ETA: You can always back up with an OPK.

It's my first month using it too. That does seem early for a high. I'm thinking that it takes time for the monitor to get to know your cycles, so I think we should take this month with a grain of salt. I'm on CD 10 and still at low, and I usually O pretty early (CD 12/13).  Guess we shall see!

I used mine for three months after I stopped breast feeding. The first month nothing, second month I got all highs, no peak. Same thing happened to me so I bought another opk to back it up and it actually showed I was o ing but I never got to peak. With DS I went right from low to high to peak. I think it was just getting used to me again.
If you miss a day it can stay on high for the whole time.

i have pcos and bought one and didnt even get to use it the full month. i told my RE i got it and he told me with pcos not to even bother and not to waste my money on it... i kept getting high readings on reg opks and on the cbefm. RE explained my hormones were high showing i was O'ing when in reality i wasnt...
eta: i think the instructions say not to use it if u have pcos or it could skew up the results if uhave pcos
