Do you think that TTCing has brought you and DH closer together or further apart?
For us, I think at this point (after 8 months) it has become a strain on our relationship. I don't think DH understands how depressed it makes me each month, when I see a BFN. I also think all the timed BDing takes away from the spontaneity and makes it hard to have a normal sexual relationship.

i don't think it's done either.... yet. it's still early. i can bet that the longer we are trying, the more of a strain it will put on our relationship. DH does NOT like scheduled BD time ...

In some ways yes, and in others no. Depending on DH's mood that cycle he's either into it or fights me on the days, like "Oh let's just wait till tomorrow night, that will be okay".
We are on month 5 and cycle 6.

I would say it made us closer, but this is our first month and I can see that changing as it becomes disappointing if we don't get a BFP.

hmm when dh has to perform and he um cant..... farther apart.
or when i am doing shots and i hear him scratching his hiney while watching sports....farther apart.
when i am waking up early to go to my infertility appts.....farther apart.
but
when i had a loss and he held me like no other and cried with me.....closer.
when we talk and realize the odds are not in my favor and i say just leave and find a woman who will give you a child...
and he looks at me and says " you ARE my family..... you are all i NEED...anything else is a bonus"....closer.
when i look in his eyes adn realize i am doing this not just for me....but for him too bc he is a beautiful man...closer.
i love him.

when DH and I were TTC with DD it did strain us because I was so crazy about getting pregant. this time around we are both more relaxed

I think there were times when it felt like it was tearing us apart... but over time I've learned to communicate with him as much as possible and I've realized that he wants it just as bad as I do. In recent months, it's definitely brought us closer.
We both have a goal (and the same goal) and it's nice to know we're on the same page wanting the same thing for one another...
