How many Follicles did you have during IVF?

I am wondering how many follicles you had during your IVF cycle. Right now I have about 10 good sized follies and a 3 that are a little smaller so 13 total. Is this a good number? The Dr. said it is but I am reading some women have 20+ follicles. I know I should stay off GOOGLE!

A very good number is about 12 for non PCOS women....this is what my RE says is best quality (Cornell likes 10-12)....the more you get the more quality you lose.....you dont want 20-30 eggs of crappy quality but 8-12 good ones....

I don't have PCOS and I am a very good responder... I average about 15 (last cycle had 19,)...

13 is great!! If they are all mature you will do great!!

I am a non PCOS women so thank you for your response. I guess your right quality over quanity right.

I had 14 retrieved, 9 fertilized. Put two back and one was DD.

i had A LOT of follies, but i do have PCOS. i had about 15 mature and and almost 30 immature at my last sono before retrieval. i ended up with 18 retrieved, all mature and all fertilized. so that just goes to show that it doesnt necessarily matter how many show on sono, it only matures whats big and mature enough on day of retrieval. also note that you'll do the trigger and you prob wont have another sono between trigger and ER, but the trigger itself will likely mature a bunch of the smaller ones.
we put 2 perfect embies back and im pregnant with at least one (we saw a heartbeat and another sac with no heartbeat, im 6w3d).

I had 5 the first , 2 the second. As many have told me. All it takes is ONE!!!

That is a great number!
I had 5, 4, 4 during the 3 cycles I did. All you need is 1 and sure enough, all it took me was one!

I think that's a great number. I have PCOS and they retrieved 32, but only 18 were mature.

I don't remember how many I had but 16 were retrieved and of those 8 fertilized.

I had 24 retrieved and 13 fertilized. I put back 4 and ended up with the triplets......

We had 16...8 fertilized...put back 2 and had DS.

20 retrieved, 11 fertilized, single embryo 5dt=DD.
