my irregular cycles & ovulation (kinda long)

ok DH & I have been TTC for #2 since baby #1 was born, she's currently 15 months. I can't say that we are REALLLLY trying, bc I'm just counting the days on my calendar when I think im ovulating & we "try" to BD. ofcourse this doesnt happen every month, bc we're busy with DC#1 and everythign.
Anyway my cycles after DD have been very irregular, anywhere from 30-40 days. Now they have settled down to like 32-34 days.
I had AF on 10/21 (on my 35th day)
and I thought I was going to O, today/tomorrow . (i dont use the OTP) not yet. anyway. And so I thought this weekend we would BD.

but on tuesday i had to go for a pelvis ultrasound to see if i have cysts on my ovaries, bc i have a history of them and the doc comes in is talking to me yadda yadda yadda and says oh i see you ovulated.
and ofcourse i didnt say anything bc what am i going to say.
but im just thinking WOW i am way off. can it be possible that i O'd on CD 11-13?

If so then I guess I have been really off!
we actually BD'd CD10 & 11, not for TTC but bc it was the weekend lol so maybe it could be this month?

if your cycles are irregular i wouldnt be surprised if you did O earlier than what you thought!

I'm very regular, 28 days to the T and I O on CD 13 every month. Oing on CD 12 or 13 is pretty normal.

It can take on average couple anywhere from 1 month to a year to conceive. I know that the waiting stinks , but if you are really concerned it doesn't hurt to see a specialist

i would def start temping or using opks..just to see when u O...the good news is that u did O..
