Anyone familiar with Gunther's Tap Room in Northport Village?
We just moved here and I am looking for a place to have a 40th B-Day. Drinks, music and some food for 30-40 people.
Is this a good place? If not, can you suggest a nearby place.
Thanks

Not if it's anything like it used to be when I was growing up there.
Why not try Nappers or the old Feed & Grain?

TOTAL DIVE BAR! I grew up in Northport, and I was always afraid to step foot in there. LOL
The only cool thing about that bar is that, Jack Kerouac used to write there.
ITA with the PP. Feed & Grain, Skippers, Elijah Churchell's, or Nappers is the way to go.

I agree with the other posters - I wouldn't do Gunthers. Try Elijah Churchills or Nappers. Feed & Grain would be good, but not sure they could accommodate a group that large in one area.

Gunthers will always be the biker bar to me! If it ever closes, it will take 200 years for the smoke to disipate from the walls!
I'd pick another spot!

I agree - not Gunther's...
Perfect!
I also like Madison's (East Northport), but Elijah Churchill's is quieter.

How about the Northport Wine Tasting Room? I love it there although I am not sure if it is big enough.
