My freakin' smiley is M.I.A. and I'm starting to worry... UPDATED!
Please forgive my vent, but I need to let this out...
This is our third cycle trying. It's CD 18 and every morning since CD 10, I've been running to the bathroom, all excited to pee on a stupid stick... and every morning all I see is an empty circle! I swear, if I see one more empty circle I'm going to throw the test reader out of my bathroom window! We've been BD like crazy and I just want a dang  .
Our first cycle I got a smiley right on CD 14!
Our second cycle my test reader gave me an error message on CD 14 and by the time I got a new one, I didn't even bother testing that month because I figured I had already missed it.
So here we are on CD 18 of Cycle 3 and no smiley in sight. I know it's still early and my cycles can sometimes be a bit long, but I want my already. I haven't seen one since the first cycle and I'm getting frustrated.
I will be 35 soon, so suddenly every minute that ticks by feels like sand through an hourglass—like I'm almost out of time. I feel myself drifting towards the land of doom and gloom and "why the heck didn't we start trying years ago!"

 It will happen. I would just BD every other day if you don't get a smiley face just so you know you at least covered this cycle. I know its hard. Hang in there.

Try not to test in the AM but in the afternoon, supposedly OPK's work better with afternoon urine

This is so hard for me to do. I can never hold my pee 4 hours. Grrr! maybe that's why I haven't gotten a smiley yet.

I tested in the am one month and never got a smiley. I don't even worrying about holding my urine. No matter what, I'm running in the door after work to go to the bathroom, so that is when I test.

That's good to know. I've been testing in the morning. I guess I'll try to start doing it in the afternoon and hope my smiley comes. I thought it might have come today but this morning was an empty circle so I'll try again this afternoon.

I tested for 30 days last cycle and never got a damn smiley. I got one today on the next cycle so don't give up! I know its annoying.
