best opk?

we r going to try soon and want to start using a opk b/c i do not ovualte every month and want to see if i am on a good month or bad ..if that makes sense..

sorry i am so new to all of this..

any one brand better than another?

I personally have never used the digital ones though but that's because I have PCOS and don't O on my own.

I also highly recommend the book Taking Charge of Your Fertility which explains all about charting. That's a great way to tell if/when you are ovulating.

I got the digital ones because I don't want to get frustrated with the ones with the lines. They are more money but I didn't care.

i use the ones with the lines. they make me angry. but i also temp. and i'm also not technically "trying" yet.

Gina!! DO the clearblue easy ones-the digitals. You use FMU, they seem to be the most accurate!

ETA: and pee in a cup and put the OPK in it-for the best accuracy

I used the FROPK with the 2 lines and according to them-I never ovulated despite getting PG that month.

FYI My OB/GYN said that while OPK's are helpful, that they are far from foolproof. Using them along with consistently for a week or 2 is your best bet.
