Why is the afternoon the best time to test with an OPK?
I know a lot of girls on here say you should test after 2pm after holding in your pee for a few hours but the directions on the test say you can test anytime. 
ETA: I know you are supposed to hold your urine for about 4 hours before testing, but are you also not supposed to drink anything within that 4 hour time period?

I dunno, I think it has something to do with the way the average body develops the hormone your testing for.

I would go by the box you have.
I think it's always best to go by instructions vs. what you read on this website.
Everyone here is using different brands/products.
I bought the CBE digital and noticed it said you can use FMU or anytime of day.
You don't want to drink too much, it will dillute the hormone in your pee, it will also make the 4 hour hold unbearable.
