When is the best time to test on a OPK?

When is the best time to test on a OPK?
I am on CD 10 today and I want to start using OPKs but I have none at home and won't be able to get out to the stores till 5pm.
Does it have to be FMU or can it be later in the day?

i have heard that the lutenizing hormone (LH) metabolizes later in the day so the best time to take it is in the afternoon.
you need to hold your urine for about 4 hours, so what i was advised to do was pee once after lunch and then don't pee again until you get home to use the OPK.

I heard it's best to take it in the afternoon/evening, not to use FMU. So I used to cut down on my liquid intake in the afternoon and then test as soon as I got home from work (around 6ish). I could never go 4 hours without going to the bathroom but I used to get close to 3 hours.

ok, i read my instert again. Don't use FMU. You may get an incorrect +. I personally get up at 6, when my DH leaves for work, use the facilities, get things done around the house, and at 9 am when I leave I use the OPK. Then test at the same time each day, for an accurate result. I am on day 3 of testing (CD13). Our cycles are pretty close. I always try to start on CD10. GL and keep us posted... Image Attachment(s):
