Has Brooke ever....
told someone they wouldn't or would have great difficulty to conceive? I hate to even ask such a sad and depressing question, but it always seems like she tells everyone they'll get pregnant.....Sorry if anyone is offended or upset by my question as I certainly don't want to upset anyone. I was just curious...

I'm sorry, I think what she does to emotionally vulnerable women is not very nice.
Us ttc'ers are desperate to believe it will happen soon. And for most of us, it will: on average it takes about 6 months to conceive. Brooke just plays the averages and takes your money. Actually, she's pretty bad at the averages: I just did the math in another thread and she's only "right" 27% of the time.
I know a lot of people are doing it just for fun, and that's cool, but I've seen a number of girls really believe in Brooke and get so upset when their month comes around and there's AF again.

Well I asked her in March or April even though we didn't start TTCing till August, and she said Sept/Oct. So that's at least 6 months since when I asked. Not that 6 months is super long, but it is longer than many of the responses she gave. Plus anytime before August obviously would have been wrong.

I'm with you ladies on this. I would never condemn anyone who emails this Brooke, be it for fun or out of depseration, but I just don't see how it can be anything more of a hoax. I've seen some people base everything all around her predictions and it kills me that she can warp people's minds so much. I'm sure she is going to be right sometimes, but she is probably wrong more often than that. And she seems to have a very generic response that she uses over an over again, with a small modification here and there. And I'm curious - does she ask you how long you have been TTC? That might explain why some people get a prediction that includes a "vision" of meds and/or special help. It doesn't take a psychic to know that if you have been unsuccessfully TTC for 6 months are so - it's a fairly safe guess you might end up at an RE undergoing some sort of fertility treatment.

i got a reading for fun a few months ago and i took it as just that...
she came up with some interesting things for my reading BUT again very vague things that probably could relate to a lot of people...as far as her prediction for conceiving i can't see it coming true but i still have time before she's wrong - but i would say it's highly unlikely that she predicted the correct time that i will conceive...
i don't think you should ever get a reading and take it as fact. i take these sort of things with a grain of salt but i still think its fun, even if it's a scam...to me it's entertainment.

And since I just got my BFP today...That means Brooke was wrong. She predicted conception/find out was October - December.

ITA with you both. I did pay and do it. And while I don't totally regret it... I do think it's crap for the most part. Of course she is going to be right some of the time... its not like she says it WILL happen on this month or day... she always gives a range. And then when she does speak about a possible "test" coming up... she said it could be a pregnancy test!! UUMMMMM I'm not rocket scientist but I'll bet ya that every single one of the preggers has a test coming up!!!!!!!!!!!!!! How else would they know they were pregnant???
I feel like she has the same handful of responses that she rotates between us. I also don't think she realizes we are all on the same board talking about the responses... which makes her that much less credible!!
If anyone wants to email and pay me... I can give ya some of my predictions!!! Anyone can guess a timeframe and be right only 27% of the time!

ps - to answer the op q....
not at all that I have seen. She hasn't said... It won't happen... or not for a long time... or you will face major difficulties conceiving... or you need IVF for it to occur, etc.
basically the same few responses are rotated... she gives a time frame of anywhere from a month to 6 months... and the range is from 2/3 months to more.
then if she gives additional information, it's usually "i see a test or procedure". some psychic..... how about you tell me exactly what that test is and be right about it (and not mislead us when it could potentially be a pregnancy test).

I have to agree too. I did it and while it was nice and gave me extra hope. She was wrong. Its a good gig to have and I totally dont put it down, but shes making lots of money off of us.

I was just thinking this the other night, I have yet to read her say to anyone it was going to take a lonnnnng time. But, she never says the year in which you will get a BFP. I think alot of people assume its this year when in fact she never said that. for all you know it could be 2 years from now, in october
