Highlights
Can anyone share where they get their highlights done and how much they're willing to pay? The current place I go is asking $150 for a full-head but I'm not totally thrilled. Any ideas?

Re: Highlights
As a hairdresser, I find it crazy how expensive these places charge for highlights. I know a lot of people think that if they go to a high end salon they are going to get great results. Its not the case, its where you are trained in the first place. Which is why I go to lemon tree and pay a lot less! I usually charge $75 for a full head and $50 for a half.

Re: Highlights
My place is much more reasonable, but is way out east, hampton bays. I'm assuming that's too far for you, but if not it's Hair Nails and Beyond and I see Gina.

Re: Highlights
I just went to Bangz on Merrick Road and LOVED it!
I got partial with toner/haircut (got my hair totally restyled because my hair had all grown out/and a blow out for 135 and I walked out feeling AMAZING.. Christina did my hair. I liked that the salon has a high end feel but you weren't bounced around and everyone was really nice that you didn't feel out of place.
