I cut my hair, and did highlights.... not happy

I had red high lights put in. The girl that does my hair did more this time since last time it rinsed out pretty quick. I was on the fence of how it looked. I stopped at my brothers house and SIIL said it looks good and she agreed that it will wash out in a day or two leaving it a nicer red. I was feeling pretty good at this point.

DH took one look at me and laughed. I am in such disbelief that he did that. He acted like a five year old. He then proceeds to tell me that he will pay to have the color returned to 'normal'.
I told him either he gives me an apology for being an azz or the hair stays the color it is.

Not one comment about the length though. I guess that's a good thing?

I LOVE the length! I think the cut is great. As for the color, I like it and agree that in a few days it will become more muted.

ok, first of all it looks modern and stylish and your dh has no clue...men don't understand women's hair. wear it proudly - it looks great!!

I LOVE the length. I was just a little eh about the hair.... he just nailed it home and then out of the ball park with his brattiness. I KNOW it will die down and I was ok with it until his comments. Normally I can just be like whatever, but his laugh made it hard.

I think the length looks good and the color is very cool! - and red fades quickly so if it is too shocking it will not be for too long

That's around the same color I get for highlights.. for the first few days when you see it in the light you'll get freaked out, but it will mute down.

Even if it doesn't lose some of the color, I think it looks good. But then again I guess I'm partial to it! I like a little bit of 'pop' to the color, with it still being office appropriate.

I love it! Your cut is great and I love the color. Red fades very quickly when you wash it so don't worry. I actually hate that it fades since I love the red color.

If you want it to fade quicker, use a clarifying shampoo like, Neutrogena or a cheap shampoo.

OMG! I would have kicked my DH in the nutz.

I love the cut!!!!! As for the color, it may be intense at first, but after the first washing, it will be much more subdued. I dye my hair with heavy red and go through the same concerns each time. The last time I didn't use red, I was kickin' myself in the arse.

the length looks awesome.

ill be honest with my opinion about the color. the red is a little too bright for me . i agree that it was probably not exactly what you were going for. however, give it a few washes and it probably will get more subtle. if it doesnt in a week ,then you should go back if YOU dont like it.
