Water schedule for Town of Oyster Bay?
I just moved to Plainview and want to water my lawn. Is there some sort of schedule I have to follow- like every other day? TIA!

welcome neighbor..I'm on the other side of town in Bethpage.
I know of no water schedule. I water early am or at night.

We are supposed to water on odd or even days according to your address. For example if your address was 105 - you would water on odd days. If your address was 14 you would water on even days.

I wouldn't worry about it today. It was a monsoon out there. Our neighbor across the street had his next door neighbor's tree fall on his garage. What a nightmare. I feel so badly for him.

Thanks for the replies everyone. I'll be watering on odd days I guess! Today was definitely not necessary. Trees were down everywhere in my neighborhood!

I am in the Town of Oyster Bay and I have Jericho Water district. We are not supposed to do any non-essential watering at all. No car washing, no lawn watering, etc. This is for our water district until further notice.

Dont forget the town also has restrictions on garbage can sizes, I think 32 gallons max, if you use anything bigger they notify you
