What kind of thermometer do you use to temp?

Just curious to see what everyone uses. Feel free to elaborate on why you chose what you did.

I use the Basal Body Thermometer. I read(don't remember where I read way to much while preparing for ttc) this was the best one to use for TTC. I purchased mine at cvs.

I was using a reg. dig. thermometer, and read online it would be fine. But since the basals were so cheap I bought one. Problem is right now that our ac in the bedroom gets me so cold, I swear it is affecting my temp. I wake up shaking and chilled to the bone. DH of course thinks its the perfect temp.

I used a basal one from Target but stopped using it when I started seeing an RE.

I recommend getting one with a backlight because then if it's dark in the room when you test in the morning (in the winter the sun doesn't come up till later) .. you don't have to turn on the lights and strain your eyes to read the temp The one I have from Target did NOT have a backlight.

Hopefully none of you will be still TTC in the winter anyway!
