Sunday QOTD
Is there anywhere you would have liked to go or do before TTC?
Tthe Maldives look absolutely breathtaking to me. I would have loved to go there before having kids. DH said we can go on a trip alone once this DC is born and is a little older.

Australia / New Zealand. I have a friend in NZ and have always wanted to visit her there, plus see the country. It's something we could never do with young children and something we couldn't afford to do before now. Oh well.

Always wanted to do Greece. But we decided before 1st DC was born that we would make that our big getaway when we hit retirement.

Re: Sunday QOTD
We were planning a trip to Ireland for November when I got pregnant with DS. Our though was to start TTC on that trip...yeah God laughed and DS was born in December, so Ireland has been on hold!

We're heading to Napa Valley on Tuesday and just came back from Bora Bora. I suggest EVERYONE go there! It was paradise!

Re: Sunday QOTD
We were just talking today about how we'd like to go to Vancouver eventually ... and Ireland and Germany too ... but then realized that if we realized that if we succeed any time soon with TTCing our next few trips will be to Disney and Sesame Place!

Re: Sunday QOTD
DH and I travel a lot and although there are still a lot of places we would love to go sans kids, we are fortunate enough that I won't have to work when we have a baby, so we can still take vacations with our LO's when we want. Also, DH's family has a home in Greece where he spent many summers as a kid. We are really looking forward to bringing our LO's there too and what's great is we will have built in babysitters there
The one place I HAVE to get to though at some point or another is the Maldives and Dubai. However, that is probably a trip we will have to save for when our kids are older so that I won't feel too guilty about leaving them behind and going so far away.

That was actually my first pick of honeymoon - Dubai and the Maldives. I had the opportunity to visit Dubai (amazing!!!) but have yet to go to the Maldives. I also think it's going to be a few years because I don't think I'd want to take LO's there. DH said we could go for my 35th bday, which is in 3 yrs.
