QOTD Saturday 7.10.10
Happy weekend ladies!!!
Today's Question is about Stress...
Has TTC ever gotten too stressful for either you and/or DH? Have either of you wanted to just throw in the towel?

DH and I are on our first medicated cycle with timed intercourse. I triggered yesterday and last night DH was so overwhelmed by having to "perform" on command that he couldn't do it. We ended up having a huge fight!
Me: One small thing is all you have to do I got to the RE everyday for blood work and every other day for a sono. I have pumped my body filled with chemicals.
DH: I am sorry. I didn't want for this to happen! I feel very pressured.
Me: I am so over this!! I am done!! I give up!
DH: Please don't give up!! You are just frustrated. We will get this to work.
In the end it worked out and we got our groove on . But last night I was so emotional that I wanted this so bad that I let it all overwhelmed me.

Oh Mrs. Fein, that sounds so stressful! Medicated cycles and timed intercourse like that put so much pressure on both of you. I guess you just try to think of the end result and make the best of it... 
As for us, we haven't had that yet. All the ttc pressure is on me because I can't seem to O , and DH doesn't have much to do, except with me a few times a week just in case. I don't give him O symptom updates though so he doesn't feel pressured and has no idea if/when we're bd'ing for any other reason than fun.

There have definitely been times when I've wanted to give up. Especially this last week, when we found out the IVF didn't work.
Right now we're going back to OPK's, temping and when it counts, in addition to DH taking supplements to help with sperm issues and me on metformin to help with the PCOS.
For some that is really trying but after going through the whole IVF process it will be taking it easy and relaxing for us!

Yes it's gotten very stressful. Not to the point where either of us wanted to give up on TTC but it's definitely gotten stressful to the point where we stopped using OPK's etc just to give ourselves a break.
Sorry you guys are having a hard time! It will get easier.
