Kinda freaking out
So yesterday my DH and I get our BFP and today we find out that DH has shingles. We had a regular appointment with our GP today and he found a rash on his back that he thought was shingles. So he sent us to a dermatologist to confirm and sure enough, it is. The doctor said to stay away from newborns, the elderly, and pregnant women. 
He said that me and the little one should be okay since I have already had chickenpox but at this point I have already been exposed. If you could keep my DH and I in your prayers, I would really appreciate it.And hopefully this little one sticks and stays healthy. Thanks girls!

omg, i hope everything is ok.
my DH had shingles when he was a teenager and he said it was terrible! I hope your DHs isnt as bad as his.

I'm sorry for your DH. I've had friends who have had shingles and it's no picnic. But I'm glad to hear that your doc thinks the will be okay through this. Good luck and be well!

Thanks everyone! Thankfully my DH isn't in much pain. We happen to catch it on the first day of seeing the rash and the doctor put him on medication right away. Thanks for all of the thoughts and prayers

I had shingles 3 months before my wedding  I was around my sister who was then pregnant before I found out it was shingles. I originally thought it was some kind of allergic reaction.
Anyway, my sister and baby were fine. Doc said the only way shingles is contaigious is if someone comes in contact with puss from one of the blisters.
