kinda freaking out a little please help!!!
So I am reading alot of post about babies that are around Cadi's age and weight less.... Am I feeding her too much... At her 6 month appt she was 18lbs 7oz and 27inches long. She is 8 months now. I dont know her weight and height for this month yet. She eats food every 3 hours except for one feeding and gets just a bottle... She is a really hungry girl... no! she doesn't look overweight...and she is healthy...they are soppose to snack! I think u are doing great!
my twins are about that but techinally a month behind...so say they were 8 1/2 months then.,,and they are in the low precentile...so I thijk she is doing great

I have the complete opposite---my DD was very big for the first 6 months of her life, but then she thinned down. She is VERY thin now, and I get so worried sometimes.
But I don't want to give her a complex, or eating issues later on, so I try not to worry to much, let her know that I worry, or push any issues.
Children should be the best judge of how much they need to eat. If she is hungry, let her eat. She doesn't look overweight to me, and also they need a lot to fuel all of the energy they use up playing and being so cute. Also, my DD thinned out so much when she started walking, so really, don't worry about it!

Andrea, don't worry...she looks healthy, not overweight at all. My DD is probably exactly what your DD was at 6 months (we go in 2 wks) & she eats every 3 hours also for the most part.
My niece was huge, off the charts her entire first year & then as soon as she started walking she totally thinned out & now is tall for her age but only in the 50th% for weight. I wouldn't worry.

You're daughter is adorable. I don't think she's fat at all. My DS was 23 lbs 7 oz at his well visit at 7-1/2 months and 28-1/2 inches. My ped is not at all concerned.

my DS was 19.5 lbs at his 4 month well visit  and his dr was not concerned at all!

Jayden is about 25 lbs at 9 months. At his 6 month visit he was 23lbs and the dr was not concerned.
Nate was also pretty big at 6 months maybe 21lbs. Once he started walking he slimmed down pretty quickly. He's 2.5 yrs now and weighs 31lbs.

She looks fine (and beautiful) to me! As long as her ped is fine with her weight gain, I wouldn't worry about it. They thin out a lot when they start to crawl & walk (more when they walk).
