Re: Dr. Brown mom's...

When I stopped BFing Ryan was 2 months old, and he went right to level 2's... He kept falling asleep w/o eating on the level 1's (I guess he is a lazy su cker)

Then @ 7 months I switched to level 3's

I think generally 3 months is when they suggest the level 2's

then 6 months the level 3's....

(i think thats what it says on the pkg.)

He your child is doing fine on the nipple... then no need to switch....

I knew both times, when Ryan needed the next size... HTH

Re: Dr. Brown mom's...

I switched to level 2 when I noticed it took him forever to drink the bottle (30 mins or more). This was around 3.5 mos. I recently switched to level 3 at 5 mos. Again, he was taking forever to finish the bottle and half the time he would fall asleep while drinking it.

Re: Dr. Brown mom's...

Sofia is 4 mos and we still use level 1's but do use a level 2 for the 1st AM feeding only. I noticed that on the level 2 alot of the milk comes out from the side of her mouth and she spits up even more (she's a normal spitter to begin with). It does take us about 1/2 to feed each time with the level 1.

I am such a bad mother...I only got my level 2 nips out today and the nipper is almost 5 months old! I tried the level 2 about 2 weeks ago and the milk was all dripping out, when I tried it this morning, he drank the bottle nice and quickly!

Re: Dr. Brown mom's...

we switched Bella over at 8 weeks, she was taking longer and longer to drink her bottle and she quickly adjusted...

the first bottle is a little messy because they don't know how to handle right away, but by the 2nd and 3rd, she was a pro...
