As a little kid, what was your favorite TV show and breakfast cereal ??

I was born in 79, so I grew up on The Muppet Show!!!!

I need to get it on DVR for when we have LO's..

My favorite cereal-it was a tie between Applejax and Lucky Charms.

I was only allowed to get it once a month though, my mom made us eat raisin bran or plain cheerios instead on most days

She refused to let us eat so much suagr first thing in the morning!

I grew up watching commercials... ...no joke the only that ever interested me on TV as a kid was the commercials. I would run around and play until the commercials would come on. I had and Aunt who would cover the TV durning them so I couldn't watch them.


As for cereal I also loved the treat of a sugar cereal. We didn't have a lot of money so those things were treats for me. My mom would buy the cheerios and rice krispies for everyday.

I was born in 1975. The cartoons that stand out the most are Smurfs and Fraggle Rock. I use to love Super Sugar Crisp and Ice Cream Cones cereal. My mom didn't really let us have sugary cereals but on the rare occasion that she bought it those were my favorites.

Born in 77. I loved smurfs, muppets, sesame and Mr.s Rodgers. As for cereal, oddly I hated sweet cereals, and still do. I only ate Cheerios or Rice Krispies.

I LOVED The Muppet Show...I used to watch it all the time with my dad. And for some reason I loved Mork & Mindy. Does anyone else even remember that show???

I wasn't a big cereal eater...All I remember eating when I was little was the occasional rice krispy's...

I did love Suzi-Q's by Hostess...SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO not a breakfast food! But I remember those well

I loved Fraggle Rock! Also liked Smurfs, The Care Bears, & Punky Brewster.

I ate all sugar cereals. Lucky Charms, Cinnamon Toast Crunch, Fruity Pebbles, Golden Grahams, Cookie Crisp...mmmm my favorite. I can't believe I was allowed to eat so much sugar. LOL

Born in '80, I LOVED punky brewster and would try and convince my mom to let me dress like her all the time (I failed).

Favorite cereal was fruit loops, but I was almost never allowed to eat it unless we were on vacation.

Born in '78 and I loved Sesame Street, Smurfs, Looney Tunes, Muppet Show and Muppet Babies, Punky Brewster, Silver Spoons, Webster, Different Strokes....you get the picture!

My mom hardly ever bought us sugary cereals. We always had Cheerios and Rice Krispies in the house but on the occasion she would buy Frosted Flakes, Cocoa Krispies, Golden Grams, Cookie Crisp and Cinnamon Toast Crunch.

For some reason I didn't like children shows until I became an adult.

Born in '79. I remember watching Mr. Rogers, Fraggle Rock, Sesame Street, the Carebears, Smurfs. I totally forgot about JEM too!

As for cereal, Apple Jacks, Froot Loops, Honey smacks and Sugar Frosted Flakes were my favs.

Born in '85. I don't really remember what I watched as a reall little kid but I do remember loving all the TGIF shows. Full House, Family Matters, Step by Step. Oh and I loved Blossom.

As for cereal, I wasn't a fan of cold cereals as a kid. I ate farina, cream of wheat and corn meal for breakfast most of the time. I did like cinnamon toast crunch though.

One of my favorite shows when I was little was The Magic Garden. Does anyone else remember that show? The Chuckle Patch Loved it! I also loved, loved, loved The Muppet Show
