yikes.....................
WOW.
I'm home having a lazy day while DH is at the Yankee game-so I decide to go onto TheBump and read through their TTC boards.
Apparently when people get a BFP and announce it on thebump ttc boards, the posters tell them to go announce it somewhere else . I'm so surprised!!! People posted comments like "I don't wanna be snarky, but you really need to post that on the 1st trimester boards". And that was one of the nicer comments.
Ouch.
I feel like when I see someone on these boards get a BFP everybody celebrates it. To be honest it makes me excited and motivated to  even more! LOL
Even though I'm relatively new, I just wanted to say how much I appreciate all the love and support on here

yea that's really terrible! I heard a lot of bad things about those boards when I was on LIW so I never explored them lol. But you're right everyone on this board is very friendly..I just think jealousy gets the best of some people!

Oh yeah, if you don't post over there everyday, and they don't "know" you, they are completely nasty. Even to people who post occasionally. They are no joke over there.

Don't get me wrong...............I have complete empathy for girls who are having a lot of difficulty TTC. So many people I know went through hell to get PG. I think feelings of jealousy are very understandable.
I just feel like how hard is it to say congrats and a smile?
IMO its nice to see the exciting happy news amidst the torturous 2WW periods..
On that note, I will stay on LIF and never stray away again

WOW! That's so incredibly mean!
As a long time TTC'er, I am happy to see ladies get their BFP's. If it's been a bad day because I just got a BFN and AF, then I just don't respond.

Wow! I just went over there to check it out for myself! What a bunch of caddy, selfish, spiteful women!!
They need to learn to get out of their own way and be happy for other people.
I started on the knot when I was planning my wedding a few years ago and quickly left for LIW because I didn't have all day to spend posting on the computer. I guess I wasn't frequent enough to become one of them so their responses to my posts were always abrupt and uncaring.
Sad to see that things like TTC can cause the same reactions.

they're monsters over there!!! i remember hearing about how bad theknot was when i was on LIW. really sick that one girl on there (who already has a baby) was sooo mean to that girl who had written about her BFP. you would *think* that someone who has been there before would maybe be happy for the girl??!?!?!?!! really sick that some people are so JEALOUS that they can't be happy for people ON THE INTERNET!!!!! I'd hate to be one of those girls' friends IRL and have to announce my BFP. jeez what a bunch of vultures!!!!

i tried finding a few other boards to join and couldn't deal with the drama....thought it would be fun with people in other states but it wasn't! girls can be so cruel!
