So I took my doggie Morgan to the vet last night for a check up and some shots. He also had to have blood drawn to test the levels of the Pheno in his system to make sure they are still normal---he has Idiopathic Epilepsy.

So when the doc weighed him he had gained 10 lbs in 6 months. I thought that was a lot and the doc and I got to talking about how much I feed him and all that. She said that I am not over feeding him and that he should be fed more than what I feed him. So she suggested to check his Thyroid since they were already taking blood for the other test.

Well, she called me this morning and told me that he has an underactive Thyroid and will need to be put on Thyroid Meds. Does anyone else have any experience with this?
