underactive thyroid in infant
has anyone heard of this? my niece is 3 weeks old, and my sister in law got a call today that her thyroid levels came back low in the hospital and they have to be rechecked...she googled it and is freaking out

sounds like hypothyroidism
its pretty common in adults (myself included)
not sure about in infants but sending

hypo means underactive and hyper means overactive right?
