If a house is vacant,...and I want it (LOL) what do I do?
Our attorney basically told us to walk away from our contract on a short sale. On the same block is a house that is vacant but was for sale around this time last year... how do I figure it out?

it's not for sale anymore? your agent (or any agent) will be able to find out if it's on the market or what's going on.

Exactly. The house next to us is vacant. They aren't putting it on the market until they know what's going on with their nephew who is supposed to move in for a few months in June.
