Underactive thyroid in a dog?
So many of you know my situation with my dog...We just took her to get another blood test, just bc I want to rule out EVERYTHING before I have to possibly find her a new home...so it came back that she has a severly underactive thyroid...as not great as this is, I'm thrilled in a way bc I feel like it's an explanation for her unexplained aggression..although she has been aggresive in the past and has always been skiddish and this is the first blood test that this came back, and we do blood tests for her every 6 mos bc of the meds that she's on....
Anyway, anyone have a dog with an underactive thyroid that showed signs of aggression and then put on thyroid meds and became better?

I hope this is the answer for you. Would a trainer know anything about this? Maybe you can call and just ask some questions..

the vet did say that it may be adding to her aggression, we're starting her on meds soon so we'll see what happens...
Thanks
