Wow, that's not what I expected to read but I'm glad he's feeling better!
Seriously! DH brought his harness and leash to the vet's office and I thought he was nuts. Then, when we got there we saw a girl leading him on a collar. Brutus has never worn a collar and he doesn't know how to walk with one so she was half dragging him. I broke down in the packed waiting room - sobbing, loud, ugly hysterical crying in a roomful of people. DH didnt know what to do with me LOL but then we went into the vet's office and I was shocked when he said that Brutus could come home and we just had to watch him very carefully! I could NOT believe it! We are so happy!!!! He is sitting right next to me with his paw on my hand and I am typing with one hand so I dont disturb him!! LOL

we also have a boston and when we give him his pills we put it deep in his mouth and hold his mouth shut and rub his throat so that he swallows.

Can you crush the pills and mix it with half a teaspoon of plain yogurt? We don't have these problems, Brinkley swallows five pills a day whole.
