Ugh!!! People!!!
I took DD to the grocery store with me earlier. We kept passing the same people in like every row. It was a woman like my age pushing a stroller with a, probably 5 month old, baby and the baby's grandmother pushing the cart.
DD loves babies so everytime we passed them she would say, "Oh hi baby!" So toward the end of the trip we saw them for like the 5th or 6th time and DD says hi, again and the grandma of the baby says to DD, "You really like babies, huh?" And I said, "Yes she does." And the woman says, "You should have another one."
I couldn't help myself, I said, "Thanks, we've been trying."
She looked like she felt bad. I felt bad for saying it, and I know she was trying to be nice and make conversation, but I couldn't help but be annoyed.
Someone tell me I'm not a raving hormonal lunatic, please?!?!?!?!

No, you're not a raving hormonal lunatic, you're just TTC. Some people will just never *get* what it takes. Personally, I like that you had the b@lls to say that. Maybe she'll think twice before saying that again to someone.

My mother kept saying something to be and I had to break down and tell her I was trying so she would leave me alone!

im sorry that what that woman said hurt you. However, im sure it wasnt ment in a malicious manner, the outside world from TTC LIF, does not realize what we do on a day to day basis.I dont think this woman should be considered rude.
