question about spaying..
My girl is a year old..is she too old to get spayed? she had her first heat..We really want to do this...just not sure if its getting too late

It's never too late!
Check with your vet - I know that their hormone levels have to be down in order to do the spay. Your vet would definitely give you more clear-cut answers.

Never too late. Just have to be sure she isn't going into heat at the time of the surgery, they do not want to perform spaying during a heat. If she only went into one heat, all the more reason to fix her asap.
