closing question and walk through question?

we are finally closing on our house next friday. when do you normally do the walk through?

How long does closing take? we have a 930am appointment... thanks

you obviously go through the house, making sure everything is up to your standards...if something isn't they need to fix it before you close....make sure you look at everything!!!

A closing can take an hour or it can take a few hours, a lot of things can determine the amount of time it will take. On average they are about an hour and a half. As for the walk through make sure you go in every room of the house, check all the water to make sure every sink is working properly and that each toilet flushes. Also make sure that the appliances work. You just want to try and prevent any surprises after you take possession of the house.

We did the walk through at 9am and the closing was at 10:30am. We were done with the closing by 12:30pm.
