you could always test with the OPK again the next day after your first +. this is what i do.
if you get another +, then assume you will ovulate the following day. if you don't get another +, assume you ovulated or are ovulating that day.
definitely not an exact science. like the PP said, use day 3 after the first +OPK as 1DPO.

Well if you want to be even more confused...I test in the morning so I just assume that the next day is the day I O'd not the 2nd day
the whole thing is just crazy....

De and Jess are vets around here too, so you can always trust them! 
I usually count the day after my second +OPK as 1 DPO because that's when I ovulate (as confirmed by temping) - but I would do it anyway just to be conservative.
So pretend you got a +OPK on Monday. You could ovulate on Tuesday or Wednesday, but we'll assume Wednesday to be conservative (so you aren't tempted to test too early). So if O is Wednesday, then 1 DPO = Thursday.
