I'm confused... I got an email from my OB/GYN...
It's to congratulate me to making it to week 11.
Well there's a link to their webpage to see more about this stage of PG and when I went to it, this is what the first paragraph says.
Week Eleven
Well here it is, Week 11, the beginning of your second trimester! With the first trimester successfully cleared now is the time to let your spirits soar with each exciting development of your pregnancy! With so many changes occurring daily it can be difficult to keep track of your baby's progress. Rely on our pregnancy timeline to mark this special journey with useful information and helpful hints for you and your baby.
I'm really confused? I was going by 12weeks being the 2nd trimester. What do you think? Thanks!

I posted about this the other day, a lot of Dr.'s and my books say different things, I beleive week 13 is the 1st week of your 2nd trimester.

This was the impression I was under. I received a letter from my OB/GYN at the beginning of my 13th week to congratulate me on the beginning of my 2nd trimester

That is a little strange but since some doctors consider week 12 the start of the new trimester ( and some 13) if you are 11 weeks its means you are starting your 12th week of pregnancy.

The must have you listed as the wrong week. Update it yourself online or ask them to update it. It was probably an oversignt on their part. www.babyzone.com sends a newsletter to me each week, they are great.
