Frustrated
I could really use some help. I have not really been on this board since I had my first child, but I could really use some advice with trying for my second. Everyone here seems to have such great advice, I remember using it a little whiles back when I was TTC my first child (usually more of a lurker- sorry). That is the problem- child number one, no problem, I know I was very lucky! But here I am TTC for 7 months and nothing! I know I should be greatful for my first, and I truly and deeply am but I would love for my child to have a sibling. We have been following Deannas plan- and nothing. I have been using OPKs, bd when I get my smiley and nothing! It has begun to take a toll on my life and my DH too. Any advice??? Sorry this is so long but I really don't feel comfortable sharing with anyone and thought this would possibly be a good outlet. You all seem to be so supportive of each other and I wish to be part of this forum as well. Hopefully I am not too annoying- thanks in advance

Re: Frustrated
Have you discussed it with your OB? After 6 months, you probably should.

Re: Frustrated
No... 31 Thanks so much for the quick replies- I actually have a dr appt on Monday. I am just getting so upset, and my dh is beginning to go crazy as well. May be tmi, but he is definitely having some "difficulty" which I am sure is based on me stressing him out to perform. I feel hopeless. This month is definitely going to be a bad one as well- got my smiley yesterday (CD 12) and am definitely o'ing today. But... we bd yesterday and I am planning to tonight, but am not too optimistic of my dh- if you catch my drift.

Re: Frustrated
first.. i am sorry you are going through this...
i am sort of in the same situation.. i am 30yrs old.. got pregnant right away on the first try.. but lost the baby at 16 weeks... now i am currently on my 6th month of trying.. going on my 7th..
DH and I just had enough.. the stress and the "chore " of BDing is not fun anymore.. so i made an appointment with my OB for the end of this month and see what he recomends.. if i had to see an RE so be it!!
so with that said.. i think its good you are going to see the doctor.. its a step in the right direction!!

Re: Frustrated
Sorry you are going through this ! My friend is going through the same thing , first child no problem , but TTC the second has been difficult , its been almost 8 months for her and her husband is having the same problem .
I know its hard, but the more you stress about it , the more it may not happen. Every woman I know that has had issues , as soon as they stopped caring/obsessing/stressing, they were able to concieve , including my mother who had difficulty before me, then said scr*w it , stoped actively trying , and I was conceived two months later .
The good news for you is you have a child already, so it WILL happen again , you just have to have faith , relax and if seeing a Dr will help, go for it

Re: Frustrated
I don't really have too much advice, just wanted to give some hugs. I'm sorta in the same boat...been trying for 4 months now and NOTHING!!! I understand how incredibly frustruating and discouraging it is.
I agree with PP that after 6 months, you should probably speak to your OB to see what's going on, if anything!!!
Good luck!!!

maybe you can do something special for Dh tonight to make him wanna BD, I notice if i sursprise him, he gets excited and wants to BD.
