IUI - Did DH go with you?
I went this morning and I had a few follies, one at 19, so I'm probly gonna be asked to trigger tonight and then go in either tomorrow or Fri. - did your DH go with you? Do you have any cramping right after? This is our first one.

Nope..DH had to work both times. The first one I had my girlfriend come with me just in case I was uncomfortable afterwards. I felt fine & we ended up going for lunch afterwards.
The second one, I went on my own & then went home to veg out.

My DH didnt come to the first and second ones but not because he didnt want to but because the timing of IUIs are fairly last minute and he had to work. The third one he was able to come to hold my hand

My DH came to all of them except one (he did his thing in the office, as we were always told that day we were doing the IUI).
The only time he didn't come was because he was out of town, but we had given a sample a week earlier that they froze.

I only had one- but I was lucky enough for it to fall on a Sunday, so DH came and held my hand
BTW- I felt absolutely fine afterwards.

DH has come to some and not to others b/c of work schedule. It's not so bad, some of the times I went to work right afterwards.

If it was a weekend, he came with me. If not, I was on my own. I did cramp a lil sometimes, but it was not all that bad.

I have had 2 IUIs (both on the weekends) and I went to both alone. I felt nothing after the first and had slight cramping after the second.

I went alone to all of them. I didn't find it necessary for him to go with me since I brought his sample from home. I went straight to work afterwards.

We have always brought our sample with us. DH usually goes with me; my mom went once.
I have had 5 IUIs. You can go alone. You might be crampy afterwards, but okay to drive. If I go to work afterwards, I try to plan an easy day for myself. I do desk things, as opposed to getting up and down all day things.

I had 5 IUIs and DH came to all of them. We produced his boys at home, then sped over to the office.

DH only came with me on weekends. During the week he produced at home in a cup and I put the cup in my bra to keep it warm. As long as you are within an hour of the doctor's office it's fine to bring the sample from home. HTH!

I had my first on Friday and DH did not come.
He had gone there to give his sample 2 hours prior to that, and I had to go for the IUI on my lunch.

The 1st one I did alone
The 2nd one we did back to back and he came both days but it was a weekend otherwise he drops off and goes to work
