Jes I have to say, I NEVER get involved in any sort of drama, or any post where there is a debate going on and after almost a year of chatting on LIF I need to. I am absolutely sick to my stomach as I write this thinking of even the term, and I can't even write it it makes me so sick.
I think before you respond again, wait a few minutes, think about your reply. People on this board were truly offended by your comment. If everyone on this board were of a different religion than I was, and I came on saying how jokes about their religion were my favorite, don't you think I'd get a lot of backlash? Don't you think those people would not only think differently of me but they would be absolutely sick to their stomachs? We all have a past, we all have things that make us different, anytime ANYONE makes a joke poking fun at one of those differences we're going to get offended - that's only human nature...so you have to expect people are shocked by your comments. I think people are just asking that you apologize to those you offended, you can stand firm on your "humor" or think what you want, but next time you post it on a public forum, please be wise enough to remember your audience.

Read the time you apologized, and the time of the responses, people were probably just writing their responses as you apologized.
