What the hell??
Ok, I know this is TMI, but TMI flew out the window with the inception of this board:
I just went to the bathroom and noticed a brown blob. I wouldn't say it was spotting - more like brown mucous.
What the hell is that? I'm CD10 - this is insane, why am I getting brown tinged mucous??

When do you usually O? Sounds to me like some CM with leftover blood from last month.

maybe it is just old blood that didnt quite make it out with your last period??

Maybe the internal ultrasound yesterday loosened things up? Uch, this is so annoying.

i had the same thing!!! so weird - i actually thought it was just CM with old AF blood. can EWCM be that thick?

If you are O'ing on Tues I'd definitely say that was a nice blob of CM with leftover blood. I get CM for about 4 days before O and none on the actual day of O. Yes it can be that thick...closer to your O date it should get more clear and stretchy. The ultrasound wand doesn't really go all the way up to your cervix so I don't think its from that.

I would say the same...
Since we're sharing TMI.. I NEVER have CM that I can detect. The only time I ever detect CM is after an IUI, or an internal sono and sometimes there's some brown or red blood mixed in. I guess it just loosens things up a bit.

Ok, thanks girls, I'll just chalk it up to my "marvelous CM"  and the internal ultrasound.
I see my RE on Tuesday so I'll mention it then. We''ll see if Dr. Ruth has any words of wisdom
