What the hell...these people across the street have no problem letting their kids play in our back yard!
It really serves more as a driveway...Our landlord concreted over it so we could park. I am leaving in a few minutes and I am afraid that one of them is going to run in back of my car! This happens all the time with these people

I think it's totally appropriate to speak with their parents.
Or to tell the kids that they shouldn't be playing there because it is very dangerous.

Last week I look out my front window and see the kid across the street in our driveway, behind DH's car. I think OK he's picking up a ball that him and his sister are throwing around playing catch.
After a few seconds I see him still in the driveway throwing the ball back and forth to his sister!
I went out right away to tell him please stop and what do I see. His parents standing in their driveway watching their kids!
I told them all right there "please do not play ball in OUR driveway"!
I would say something right away, before someone gets hurt.
