So who watched Oprah today?????

It is all about trying to get PG. The first part was about surrogates. But the 2nd part was/is (still watching it) about how Martha Stewart's daughter is dealing with Infertility.... I know I am not at that point yet. And I did get pg (for a little while) but it just breaks my heart to see what some people have to go through.

I could just cry. I want a baby so bad. It just s u c k s... there are no other words... it just does..

I am so frustrated with this miscarriage. I feel like someone has taken the wind out of my sails. I just want the bleeding to end so I can see where to go from there. I am scared that I am going to O while I am still bleeding or spotting...if that is even possible and then I will miss my chance this month. I just hate the waiting. I just wish I could know.

This may show you how sad I am ... I really want to go to psychic... I don't even believe in them.. really...but I just wish there was some way to know. I won't go because it is crazy waste of $$$ but I would just love to know.

SORRY to ramble on. Sometimes it just helps to type it all out.

Re: So who watched Oprah today?????

I just watched on DVR and was crying listening to their stories. We are on month 7 and I just feel like it's never going to happen. I try not to lose hope but it's really hard to stay positive, especially seeing some of the lengths people have to go to. Right now we are getting ready for my husband to have surgery which will hopefully improve our odds but for now we just take it one day at a time.

It's funny you mention the psychic thing b/c there is a medium that my family has seen on a few occasions and she has been very on target with MANY things she has said. She said I would have 3 children and I'm hoping and praying she is right, but I do want to go back and talk to her about all of this.

I hope that the bleeding stops soon and that you get your sticky BFP soon! The waiting is the hardest part. Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon

Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon When I went through my m/c, someone told me that it was to help me appreciate exactly how precious life is when it DOES happen for you. Now, when I'm having a bad day, or my daughter is screaming at the top of her lungs, I try to step back and remember that moment when I was in the same exact place you are - feeling defeated and hopeless, and just desperate to have a little life growing inside of me.

I'm certain it will happen for you, just like it happened for me after my m/c Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon

Re: So who watched Oprah today?????

Thanks ladies. I am just starting to get scared that something is wrong. I have been bleeding for sooo long. It is 11 days today since I first saw spotting. I spotted from Sunday to Wednesday. Then I bleed (moderate bleeding) from Wednesday to Today. I think I passed tissue on Saturday. It is starting to taper off a little... but really just a little bit less. My midwife keeps indicating that it should have only lasted a few days.. I stopped calling her because everything I read says you can bleed for up to 10 days. I guess If you go by bleeding and not spotting I am still okay.

Did anyone else have it take so long????

I told myself I would give it until Thursday afternoon. Hopefully it really starts to change to spotting today.

Re: So who watched Oprah today?????

I m/c'd at 6 weeks, and for me, the bleeding was very short - maybe 4-5 days, like an AF, but very, VERY painful. I do have friends though, where it lasted MUCH longer.

With that said, it's really very important that you have a follow-up visit with an ob/gyn, with ANY m/c, whether early or late. They should also take some blood to make sure the HcG comes out of your body completely. After my m/c, I think I went in to visit my doctor about 3 times, until the HcG went back down to zero.

sfp0701- I'm sorry to hear about your miscarriage. I had one in March and it definitely is hard and sucks! I bleed for over 2 weeks (it gradually got lighter) and seemed to last an eternity. I agree though you should definitely go for a follow up with your DR for the all clear! hang in there!

I have bled for 3-4 weeks after m/c--it is just your body getting your uterus read to get PG again. If you got PG before you can get PG again....Most 1st miscarriages are flukes...you should be fine. Are you doing everything you can?(temping, OPK's Charting, analyzing CM?)

Re: So who watched Oprah today?????

im sorry for your loss. im trying this week for the first time since my MC. since i found out i was going to loose the baby all i wanted was to try again. i had to wait for the mc to pass then for AF 1 month later and now its time finally to TTC again.

you wont miss your time due to the MC. b.c if you are still going thru that then the hormones will still be in you. If your body thinks you are pg you cant get pg again.

i mc at 7 weeks and didnt bleed very long ~4- 5 days but AF for me is usually light and short also.

funny you mention the psychic. i plan events as part of my job and i got fortun tellers recently at one of the events. i went to them since it was alreay paid for. she kept asking what wa wrong with my stomach ( this is right after the MC) i said nothing. she then said i will have 3 children. i said i only wanted 2 she said no there is one that is a little angel and that is what she was seeign wrong with my stomach. so she claims to have know about my MC based on her cards. she said i will have 2 healthy childen. we will see.. i have never gone to one before but i guess if you dont put too much weight in what they say it can be fun.

good luck. Chat Icon

I have been under the care of a midwife and had 3 beta's plus a transvaginal sono... which showed nothing in my uterus.. But I posted a new post about all my other problems that just developed and I will be going back to my OB that I saw before this pregnancy tommorow morning.

Thanks for your response!!! I appreciate it. Chat Icon
