I'm in a quandry
We were supposed to start TTC this month. 3 days ago, DH hit me with, "I want to go to Disney." It's his 30th BD, and 1 week before our 1 year anniversary. We're definitely going - I booked it yesterday.
I don't know if I still want to TTC and be good (as the trip will fall during the 2ww) or hold off for another month and go on whatever rides I want & drink whatever I want & start TTC in Oct.
It's a completely personal decision, I realize...I guess I just want to know..what do you think?

I think you should go. You wouldnt even know if you were pregnant at that point. You should just relax, and enjoy the time with your DH. Best of luck to you!!!

Def go and enjoy! Other than quitting smoking, I highly recommend living "life as usual" until you get your BFP.

I went to disney during the tww. Honestly you can go on rides and drink. You would be soearly on. You would also be mad at life if you gave it all up... didn't enjoy yourself and got a BFN.
My advice.. even though it is totally your opinion that counts... is to go to disney, try and don't adjust your lifestyle until you get a BFP.
Although quitting smoking (i have read) is supposed to drastically increase your fertility.

Personally, i would NEVER disrupt my life for TTC. As Sweet Caroline said, its life as usual.
We are actively TTC, and just booked 2 major vacations over the next 8 months.

I was in the 2ww during my honeymoon. I was drinking french wine and hit the rides at Euro Disney. I found out right before we left to go home I was pregnant. I was worried at first but the doctor said not to worry because baby was not drawing form me yet. The placenta is not drawing from mommy till about 8-10 weeks. So I say ttc and then eat drink and be merry on your vacation . Once you see the bfp then you can start behaving yourself.

Since it would be so early, I say go. As others said, you can't put life on hold while TTCing. You should be fine - have fun!

Good luck to you but you shouldn't put too much thought into it because you will make yourself crazy.
You should live your life as usual until you get a BFP.
