Hi, my name is....
Randi and I'm and a TTC and Pregnancy Board-aholic.
Lately, when I come on LIF, these are the boards that I gravitate to. I don't even think about it, and I just click. Not NFR, not Home... ok, Celebrity Gossip yes.
Is my mouse trying to tell me something??!!
The timing really is just not quite right, but I can't stop freakin thinking about it-- despite what my rational thoughts are.

i have 3 kids of my own and a stepdaughter and think it is the greatest thing in the WORLD.. so much so that my DH and i are desperately trying for our last. we've been trying now for about 8 months but we'll get there eventually! i think you know when you are ready when it's something you just can't live without and you want to give up part of yourself to have it.

same with me- I am mainly a lurker
we aren't ready yet- but I like to read about other people who are (and people on here that I am friendly with getting prego and trying too)

Same here!
we're not even close to TTC, but when i come on LIF, i always click on PG, TTC and parenting before all of the other ones. SO WEIRD!!! 
i just really like to plan way, wayyyyy ahead.

Just so you guys know- that's when it *started* for me. First the TTC and PG board (just for s n g's), then the *talk* with DH, now I'm almost 39 weeks.....

hmmm......that's how it started for me, too! About 6 months ago I started lurking, and couldn't stop thinking about it. The topic kept coming up with me and DH because babies seemed to be everywhere (family, friends, etc)...and then 2 months ago we had THE TALK, and here we are TTC!
Good luck even if you're not TTC yet...you'll learn so much here!

I did the same thing in the months before we tried - dh was ready months ago but I wanted to wait longer - I lurked on both boards and then dh and I discussed ttc and took the leap - at that point I was so ready I thank god we were lucky the first month - when you are really ready all you want to do is dive right in

I am in the same boat! NFR/Celebrity was always my first click.
It's crazy that I realized I was ready through reading boards on a website.
Anyway - May was our first month "casually" trying and it worked... I don't think I was, or am, 100% prepare but we are pumped!

Well, I guess I am not alone.
I have been posting on these boards a while-- I just noticed that I come on here or Pregnancy A LOT more now.
Anyway-- it's good to get educated and when the time comes-- I guess I will be ready!
I am three months into a new job, although working with an old boss.. and I have a vacay planned in December... so, after that, TTC here we come!

Same here, those are the boards I go to first. And you know my situation Randi, I just started a new job and its currently temporary so who knows. But more and more people are giving me the advise that you can't let that dictate the timing, when you're ready, you're ready and its a great thing. I'm a practical person who likes to plan things and think things through (although I may not have fully on this last job move, but whatever) - anyway, my point being that I'm close to being ready and when I feel really ready, I think we're gonna take the plunge and TTC regardless of my job situation.
Sounds like you're not too far away - that's awesome! It all works out in the end I believe!

same same......I like to hear what everyone has to say on all of the boards..home/pets/gossip/fashion but TTC and Pregnancy always pull me in.....it's like a cosmic force  We want to start trying next year, but we need a vas reversal first....oh yea my name is Lindi nice to meet you and all of the "lurkers" reading
