You need to wear ice packs in your bra- it worked wonders for me!

Fortunately I did not suffer from this, but my mother told me when this happened to her my grandmother strapped her boobs down so tight so thaty wouldn't move... Also, I heard that about the icepacks as well and also, drink espom salt - not sure how good that tastes, but my g/f did this and it dried them up right away!

I second this... I wore a regular bra and a sprts bra with ice packs... I never felt any pain...

Re: Is there anything I can do to relieve some
I tried breastfeeding for 3 days and then decided to stop. When the milk finally came in, I took Tylenol, wore a sports bra all day (even to bed) and put ice packs in the bra. The pain eventually stops

Re: Is there anything I can do to relieve some
I seem to remember something about cabbage leaves (don't laugh! ). I didn't need anything but the sports bra, but they said to use frozen peas in a ziplock bag (makeshift ice pack).

i had pain for one day and I used bags of frozen veggies. when you take a shower, don't let the hot water hit your breasts.

Re: Is there anything I can do to relieve some
Go out and buy a savoy cabbage...put the leaves in your bra. That really helps.
