I used to love bradley cooper in Alias way back in the day, then i got over him. BUT I love bradley coopers voice. knowing he can sing, totally made me re-interested in him. and lady gaga, I love her voice always have. always hated her lady gaga image... loved how natural she looked in the beginning of the movie. i just wish she credited herself in the movie by her true authentic self. i was waiting to see stefani germanotta but it said lady gaga. the most disappointing part of the movie LOL

Saw it last night. Loved bradley cooper and she was amazing as well. I really liked the music...I dont know if I was just tired but I didnt LOVE it. I felt it dragged a little My husband agreed. Dont get me wrong I really enjoyed it Im just not having the same reaction as everyone else for some reason.

I thought the movie was eh. I liked Lady Gaga a lot, but overall I didn't care. I thought the Jackson character was kind of an abusive, selfish ass and I just spent the whole movie wanting her to leave him.

I can't stand her either. I did love her Oscar performance a couple of years back, where she did a tribute to The Sound of Music...I thought that was amazing. But other than that, I'm not a fan at all!

I remember years ago planning our wedding telling the band NO Lady Gaga and the first dance song was poker face ha!

I dont love her crazy antics (ex: the meat dress) but I like her as person. Every invterview Ive seen of her Ive really liked. And I think she has an amazing voice. Which is one reason I dont like her crazy antics. She doesnt need all that for attention. Her voice is enough. With all that said. Im going to see this tomorrow and I cant wait!!

I think she has really grown past the gimmicks... She is incredibly talented regardless. I also like that she has been an advocate for LGBT community before it was popular to do so.

I was really over her until I saw her Netflix doc. Totally changed my mind about her. This movie has haunted me in the best way possible, I can't get the music or the story out of my head! It was AMAZING!

YES I agree about the music and the story!
I never saw the original or the remake. But I just saw this and my god nobody has a voice like her. Nobody! The power and emotion she sings with is incredible. And I always liked Bradley Cooper but Im pretty sure I just feel in love with him. I will be getting the soundtrack. I just heard he spent 4 yr taking vocal lessons for the role. It worked.
I had no idea Andrew Dice Clay was in it. And he was GOOD! This will be a movie I watch over and over again. Even if it is a little long. I don't think there was a story line that I would say could've been left out.

I never saw La La Land. But from what I remember of the coming attractions, if he liked that I'm sure he will like this.

Too many horror stories of her sh1tty behavior on CDAN for me to like her or support her. There's a particularly bad one involving this movie (she stole the music from the writer and gave writing credits to her and her boyfriend and completely shut out the actual writer).

I saw this last night and absolutely LOVED it! What a GREAT movie! LOVE the music! I bought it on Amazon. I was surprised to read that Bradley Cooper could NOT sing at all. He took voice lessons for a LONG time before filming this movie. I think he's pretty darn good!

What is the writer's name? I saw a lot of credit given to various people who wrote songs in the movie.
