It was shocked how well it went. He is such a handful in so many areas but he totally redeemed himself here

At 2 we put him in a twin. We felt the toddler bed was no different then the crib.

DD and DS are exactly 2 years 2 days apart. We transitioned DD to a twin bed a month or 2 before her 2nd birthday since the crib was going to her brother.

2.5. She was in a toddler bed for about a week. That didn't work out because she is a wild sleeper. Went to a twin and she was much happier!

We did it at about 16 months and he loves his car bed!

DC#1 was 22 months
DC#2 was 32 months ... he was so old because we planned on giving both kids new beds once we moved so we waited until after to switch him from the crib.

DS1 was 2y3m. It was an easy transition. DS2 was 2.5. It took a little longer, but it still went pretty well. Both boys hated their cribs and we're co-sleeping for a long time with us.

ETA: Their cribs converted to full beds, which they both love.

almost 2 1/2. she started climbing out of crib occasionally around 18m but we were able to keep her in there for a bit longer. one day she just started screaming and hating her crib , completely climbing out and would not stay in at all. so we had no choice but to transfer at 29m.

15 months
But we had no choice b/c he started crawling out of his crib. Try reasoning with a 15 month old as to why he needed to stay in bed was a nightmare!!!

2.5 and still in the toddler bed at a few months shy of 4. He'll move to a full size in the next few months as I need his bed back as a crib.

We did at just over two years partially because she started climbing out and partially because we had a second coming. It was not fun. She didn't want to stay in her bed. I would wait until you have to just in case.

3 but not a toddler bed. she went right into a queen size. she started climbing out of her crib before the age of 2, but i knew she was not ready for a bed at that age, so my husband made a, for lack of a better word, cage out of her crib using one of those octagon gates for the christmas tree. it worked very well and we were able to rest easy knowing she was safe and couldn't climb out in the middle of the night. moving her before i was able to reason with her and explain the rules of a big kid bed just was not an option for me.

Around 17 months to a toddler bed and around 30 months to a full size bed.

My 1st was almost 4 when moved from crib to twin bed. He loved the crib and never climbed out.

Just before his 3rd birthday. We put him right into a full size bed.

we moved DS at around 28-29 months. He kept climbing out of his crib and his mattress was practically to the ground. We moved him to a full size bed that we had in our guest bedroom and put up bed rails.

My twins were 3 years 2 months when they started crib hopping. My youngest we transitioned on his 2nd birthday. He was p!ssed that the twins were in beds and screamed every night. So I had to put him in bed with his brother or sister in order for him to sleep. He was 1.5. We bought him his own bed for his birthday.

When dd tried jumping out of her crib. We made it a while though. She was almost 3!
