Took about 5 days for us. Fever lasted 2 days and then 3 days of just miserable without fever. His sores were terrible. Took a while for the sores on outside of mouth and on arms/legs to heal completely.
Dr told us to try Benadryl/malox mix....didn't seem to do much for DS.
We did Motrin and Tylenol piggybacked on.
Worst illness for s so far! Sorry you are dealing with this!

Re: dreaded coxsackie
Poor kiddie! Dd just got over it. She had sores pop up on Tuesday morning, and they were pretty much dried up by Friday and the scabs started dis appearing by Saturday.
Just try to make her drink as much water as possible to help flush everything out. If I had to take her outside, I put socks on to offer more cushion against her shoes. Otherwise kept her barefoot to try to help everything dry out. And the Motrin alternating with Tylenol helped.

Oh no, hope you have it easy. DD had a fever for just one day and then the rash came and took several days to go away. She really just had the rash on her legs though.

Tis the season.
Alternating Tylenol and motrin... The blisters lasted about a week.
Good luck - coxsackie stinks.
