Who are now the heirs to Winterfell? Ned, Robb, Catelyn are gone. Everyone thinks Bran and Rickon are dead. Jon is a *******, betrothed to The Wall.

I thought this episode was SO well done!! I was looking forward to actually seeing this acted out since I started watching this show and it was just as hard to watch as it was to read. Tore my heart out then, still does. 
It was a nice touch to add in Robb's wife tothe mix. Definitely made for more drama. I still cringed when they killed Grey Wind too.

DH and my reaction was just . So many main characters are gone!!
The silent end credits were perfect. They matched the silence in our living room.
Poor Arya.  What's the deal with the hound? He seems to be taking care of her, but I wonder what he'll do now. I don't trust him, but I don't hate him. He is yet another character I'm very conflicted on.
I know everyone keeps saying that none of the main characters are safe, and that makes it very interesting and all, but it seems like it's mainly just the Starks that this applies to. Kill off Tywin or Joffrey already!!!
Totally agree about the credits, I felt that way too.
The Hound is another character that plays on your emotions. The horrible things he did for Joffrey. The obvious care he took with Sansa, saving her from the mob. The things his brother, The Moutain, did to him as a child. How he is seemingly caring for Arya especially now that her mother and brother were slaughtered. (even though she wants to stick a knife in his eye)

I forgot that his wolf was named Grey Wind, I called him Ghost. I was happy to see the wolves this episode, you haven't seen them much this year at all.

I haven't read the books but last night's episode makes me want to! That was insane!
I agree about the foreshadowing. I thought Frey's use of "red wine will flow" was odd when he said it. The first thing I thought of was blood.
And when he said he "knew what was going on under a woman's clothes" I figured that was a nod to Stark's pregnant wife.
Also, I was wondering why he gave away a "pretty" daughter. You know? When the rest of them are supposed to be so ugly why would he marry the good looking one when the marriage was already in the bag? Cause he knew it was farce? He did make a point to say they're not really married until they've bed. And I'm assuming Robb's uncle was murdered as well....
When they stabbed the Queen's stomach (repeatedly!), I cried out. How horrid. 
Then poor Robb. He looked like he wanted to die. He really seemed to love her. I was rooting for him but really he was a pretty crappy king. He pretty much did nothing but stare at his maps and do his wife.

Ghost is Jon's direwolf. I think he's still supposedly roaming around north of the wall.

I think that would be Arya 'cus Sansa is married so has no claim to Winterfell... Her husband, then son (if she has one) would be the one to claim Winterfell if there are no longer surviving members of the Starks...

Yeah, I have to say that having read the books, I braced myself for the scene but I was NOT expecting the stabbing of the belly. I am still traumatized.

I read the books too so it's exciting to see everyone's mind blown.
You guys touched on everything already but I want to talk about the wildling that Jon Snow killed...
He was a shape changer (or whatever Bran is) too - he changed into the eagle... I wonder what's going to happen there?

Nope it would be Sansa, because she is the eldest and therefore really Tyrion who has the claim. That is one of the reasons Tyrion is married to her.
