Army crawling
One of my twins has been army crawling for weeks now- He sometimes starts on his knees and takes a few crawls but then goes down and finishes using his arms. Its weird- its like he's more confident just using his arms. Will he ever crawl regularly? He could go so much faster if he just got up on his knees!

Army crawling
DS did that for a few weeks and when he was ready started to crawl regularly! don't worry he'll get there!

my niece is 18 months. she began "scooting" on her behind around 11 months (delayed to begin with) and never crawled. She is 18 months and just took off walking yesterday. She never ever crawled.
All babies are different

Army crawling
DS will be 9 months next week and stil army crawls. He has been doing it for about 6 weeks now. He gets up on his knees but he army crawls to move. I don't know if hewill ever crawl on his knees! He sits himself up and is starting to pull up to stand so I'm not concerned.

I have twins too and my DD was doing that sort of crawl for about 2 weeks and then she figured out how to put it all together (meanwhile DS was and still is a crawling champ from the get-go).

Army crawling
I have twins and dd was like this. She army crawled for quite a whole startin at like 7 1/2-8 months. At around 10 months she started crawling. DS started crawling around 11 months. DD was just more comfortable and confident army crawling. DS was delayed. Neither started walking until around 16 and 17 months. I have a 9 1/2 month old now who still army crawls. I don't think he'll actually crawl. He's trying to pull himself up to stand now. I'm thinking he's just going to take of one day walking. Every baby is different. You never know, he may just start walking.

He could eventually...but he may just go straight to walking!
DS had a classmate in school/daycare that would army crawl.
My DS would roll. It was hilarious & weird at the same time.

It is so funny- he's like a little slug but he can get around.
He started doing some more regular crawling yesterday so I think he'll be converting soon. Maybe now he can keep up with his twin who is practically walking- crazy how different they are!
