Btdt foot wear by the pool etc
So what should I get for my girls to wear by the pool for this year. They just started walking. My instinct is barefoot, but I put my flip flops on because the deck is so hot. They are going to need something.
Thoughts?

edited: I should also add that they are only a size 3 at the moment.....

One Step Ahead sells water sock type things. A child just learning to walk isn't going to do well in flip flops. My child is older and is always tripping in flip flops.

We use the One Step Ahead booties too.

No, they look like this, but it doesn't look like they sell them anymore. Maybe you can find them online somewhere. Type in kids water socks

i used crocs for the sprinkle park we dont really go to the pool but if i did i would have her wear crocs until she went into the water

another lover of the socks - they were great he could walk right in the pool and on the deck - I liked that he could still walk on toes if needed
he had crocs too but in terms of around the pool - I felt they were safer - he tripped a lot less in his socks then the crocs - and trips around pools are dangerous conctrete or in water both not fun
we had gthe green and blue ones poisted above

Thanks for posting this question. I was wondering the same thing... Never knew about these socks... Dd is almost a year old and still not even a 3 yet. Makes it hard to find shoes for her!

tell me about it!!! my girls are almost 20m and just a size 3. Finding shoes is sooooo difficult!
